The work concerns the relationship between people’s behavior and their mental state by carefully observing the subtle differences in how pedestrians move. This video was shot at East Hastings Street in Vancouver. The viewer seems imprisoned behind a chain-link fence and partially opened metal gate. Watching the social environment from this view and guessing what passersby are thinking, what means normal? Who is imprisoned?
