Cotton Research Project III –Cotton Dream-A Nap (a series of tapestry work)

In this series of tapestry, I combine traditional materials and digital technologies. I made the drawing out of my photography and paintings that I created. All the images are showing a person sleeping at their place of work. Are they taking a nap? resting? dreaming or sleeping? What is the story behind it? While researching the textile in Hong Kong, I discovered Long River Computer Label Development Company which produces images through a Jaquard digital weaving machine and is located in an industrial building in Kwai Hing. I am collaborating with their professional design team.
