This is a necklace made by various plastic yarn spools, paper tubes and wooden bobbins. The history of the necklace is as rich as textile in the fashion development and anthropology. The sculpture represents the different stages and producing processes of the textile industry, that come in different styles and sizes. Here they transform into various beads of a necklace. The artist beaded together these bobbins she collected from many places. It explains not only the difference of each unit element, but also the changes of the generation and the evolution of human civilization. It also explains the industry and culture stories behind the bobbins and spools.
