Dry Memory
Dry Memory
2005

The works reveal the relationship among fiber, human’s life and environment. Through the dialogs between objects and space, I’m concerned about the relation between human’s life of moving and ceasing in the different time, space and creation. It also includes the relationship between changes of mental and physical aspects and the creator’s responses to the different environments. I replace the original functions with the paper materials to produce common objects in daily life. Although it looks like strong, in fact it is fragile after sewing. Hence, it could make us ponder the relationship between life and fiber. Besides, by printing technic, it also hides the real objects to imply the human traces.
