Every country has a different food culture as well as there own particular meaning and flavour . For a traveler or an emigrant eating is often used for thinking of local cuisine and comforting the soul. It shows an important and complex link between globalization and regionalization. The work builds a bridge and thoughtfulness with people through the process of cooking the hometown meals by the foreign women who are married to a Taiwanese. We are sharing and enjoying this food culture by picnic together. The project is presented as a video sculpture installation.
